Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators through public information points and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by public monitoring Scientology Europe bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
